Well done at last...I feel like it has been a long interesting road of knowledge. I think I like the task involving government reference. I feel more comfortable downloading books to the ole ipod now too. Good job on reading all those blogs out there (wordy ones and all.)

Task 22

Well those are some interesting blogs you both have posted...I will check out the make use of one often, thx Cari. I recently discovered playlist.com and I really like it for music. You can have 200 songs and choose from basically any artist that is on there to add to your queue.

Task 21

Well picnik was cool, nice to know there is free photo software w/out a username, yay.

Task 20

Mesa Cty Site, well I found my house on the assessor page and it reminded me of how high my taxes are- ouch! Anyways, it was cool to see the old picture they had on there too. I think they have tons of info on this page, from noxious weed control to where to report a pot-hole. I would have to sift through this page a while to find everything, but it does give department separation which was helpful.

State of Colorado page has tons of info too. I use this to renew my license plates and will use it to renew my license, thank gosh for this! I hate to do this junk in person for sure! I mapped sex offenders and woohoo-there are not any in my area currently. I like the web traffic cams--haha like we have traffic here. I do like the layout of their website.

I checked out the community directory, which is very informative. However, by the time I remember to use it, I would have probably found out the info on google. That happens to me a lot.
Whew, I didn't think I would like this task, but I actually really did. Hmmm, I always do that, end up liking things I didn't think I would. Epiphany I say.

Task 19

Well I got a 100% woohoo. Can ya believe that, I actually I am pretty familiar w/this tricky thing. I had no idea that we had a plant guide, which is cool! The promo section isn't an area I have actually checked out before, so yes helpful, but this should never take the place of inter-personal communication is what I saying.

Task 17

I checked out the the information about job postings in all the different states--I like to look at the what the job market in each state is demanding for pay rates. I am a business major and like to look at those types of stats. I checked out the CLIC website and did a brush-up on on info I had not see in awhile.

Task 16

Open source seems quite user friendly. I am not sure why you would want all that background jazz in the forefront. It seems close enough to word that I can understand it without reading faq's which is nice. I wasn't sure how friendly it would be if you don't have open source and want to view this. That would be my biggest concern.

Task 15

Clip away! Watched the tutorial...short and sweeeet, which I like. Seems like a novel concept to be able to do this. I am not sure I would used it instead of bookmarking, but I like having options for sure.

Task 14

So far.......Net Library not helpful. I had to install new media center which is fine, but then I had to update windows media player, ok 25 minutes later. I just did all that to find out there isn't anything ipod compatible for me to bother with. EH! So I will go on to overdrive, to be cont....Success, on overdrive. I found a C.S. Lewis 4 part book to download and put on my Ipod touch, it worked marvelously. I shall try this again, I transferred it through the overdrive transfer.

Task 13

OK, I liked this sound effect thingy. I looked up scary Halloween sounds, because that is my favorite holiday! I can really be myself...hah. I looked up animal sounds, I am not sure what we could use this for on the website, however. It could be used on halloween in children's. I am not sure what to dress up as yet, I need to incorporate pink hairspray though. A new artist eh, hmmm.....

Task 12

I have found in the past when I try to use Novelist it is not the most helpful tool for me. I like the Kent Library District series help. I find that very helpful and the more readers tab for read a-likes. Thanks for all the new info.

Task 11

So I checked out the different items and I liked the books to movies part and thought that was interesting. The rest didn't seem pertinent to me, however. I like that we have this Bio info on our website, but I watch the bio channel a lot and find that much more informative.

Task 10

Wathced the informative tutorial, good stuff. I have used master premiere before and it comes in rather handy for the consumer reports purposes. I have told patrons about this since they can't check that out, and that makes them happy.

Task 9

So I took the easy road and did the weebly page. I thought is was cool, and if I had more time I would make this look cool, like GLoartsy's.

Task 8

CC was interesting. I didn't know that such a thing existed. I like that there is something like this out there, but it doesn't really spark my interests. I looked up some music, but it is not the kind I like. I think it is great for artsy people. NIN shares, nice! I checked out digital fringe, but it took a long to to get all the info downloaded to the page. I am just not that patient.

Task 7

Well, there was sure a lot to check out on this! 1. Library thing--like Melody says, "cool name," but much to involved for me.
2. Good reads seems pretty interesting.
3. I didn't relate.

5. All readers- I definitely like this and may actually use this. I found some interesting books- "Pride & Predjudice Zombies is surely a must read. So I like horror, there's nothing wrong w/that. So thanks for all the interesting info to check.

Task # 6

Customer 123
Your actions and behaviors, as well as your words, affect customer interactions--good motto. It basically says treat others like you would want to be treated. I think it is good to remind people of this often, due to every day stress. Difficult patrons can mess w/your day sometimes, but I try not to take it personal--but oh am I human. The other info regarding ohio new staff, seemed informative, but a lot for a new person to take in at.

Task 5

Well I have used these (hold procedures)several times and think that book bag isn't all that user friendly. I do like to place holds using my library card for doing several at a time.

Task 3

Quiz, check done!
Well after going through the whole quiz I clicked done and low and behold it said you have already taken this quiz. Apparently, you can only take it once, which I must have done already in a foggy dream. Not sure what happened there, but the ? about foundation seemed to take me the longest.

Task 4 Facebook
Well I have had this for a while too. I checked out coke on fb and am a fan of MCPLD fb page, too. I don't like to mix politics w/work, so I am glad there were other choices. I think it is another medium that is taking over w/the instant gratification that our society demands. I don't mind these things, but I still like the old fashioned way too.

Task 2-Pandora or Last.FM

Well I have had a pandora acct for awhile, and don't like the new advertisement popup. So I am trying the last.fm. It requires a little more clicking, but I like the different selection it gives. So thanks, I may try this new thing for a bit.

Well, it is like reading an old journal. Sorta the same, but time has changed me a bit.
